Particularly impressive is the pronounced, intricately stepped crystal surface. Numerous parallel growth terraces form a captivating cascade of finely offset crystal faces. The colouration is undoubtedly among the most enchanting features of this specimen. Delicate lavender-violet areas gradually merge into cool ice blue, occasionally intensifying into more vibrant sky-blue tones. Particularly appealing are the turquoise to subtly greenish sections, which lend the crystal an almost aquatic elegance. Depending on the angle of illumination, the colours blend into magnificent transitions reminiscent of a pristine Alpine glacier lake.
