🇺🇸 Beautiful cluster of gleaming and lustrous, intricated pyrite crystals in contrasting brownish-gray mudstone of the ornatenton formation. The pyrite has grown upon a pyrite pseudomorph after a fossil. From a one time only mine reopening in 2010 for scientific reasons in Hamelspringe. The locality is famous for pyritized fossils.
