Durch einen heftigen Vulkanausbruch, der 3 Tage andauerte und der heftigste Europas war, der sich jemals ereignete, bildeten sich Wolken, die sich im sogenannten „Eifeler Glutregen“ niederschlugen.
Was die Geschmolzenen und vermengten Minerale sofortig erkalten ließ -> der einzige Moment der Erdgeschichte an dem der Hauyn in echter Edelsteinqualität entstehen konnte.
Hauyn ist das Ergebnis der Zusammenkunft von Feuer und Wasser, in einem Moment der Ewigkeit.
