Grayishbrown, elliptically shaped, translucent colombianite with several bubbles and craters on its surface. Colombianite, also known as Cali glass and Piedra Rayo, is a pseudotektite created during volcanic eruptions as lava is catapulted and cools to glass.
The piece has been backlit in some photos to show its translucency.
