Exceptional chalcopyrite specimen from a very limited recent find in the Madan ore field. Several crystals show an elongated pointy prismatic habit, oriented in a parallel way standing out of the delicate and drusy needle quartz matrix covered in black sphalerite crystals. There have only been a small amount of pieces in this habit.
The Madan ore field never disappoints in fascinating mineralogical discoveries and this specimen definitely excels from the tons of similar-looking Madan material.
