An exquisite little treasure from the historic Winterberg Quarry near Bad Grund in Germany’s Harz Mountains, originating from the personal collection of the quarry’s late foreman.
The centrepiece of this remarkable specimen is an almost majestic, generously proportioned Calcite crystal, displaying exceptionally lustrous, brilliantly reflective crystal faces. Its already impressive appearance is further enhanced by a delicate second generation of tiny Calcite crystals, scattered across its surface like a constellation of sparkling stars.
A truly captivating specimen, combining outstanding crystal aesthetics with the special provenance and historical charm of an old, locally assembled collection. A wonderful collector’s piece from one of the Harz Mountains’ classic mineral localities.
In traditional crystal healing, Calcite is associated with mental clarity, positive energy and emotional balance. Its brilliant crystal surfaces and delicate secondary growth symbolise renewal, inner illumination and personal transformation.
