Unusual specimen from the Zederhaus valley in the Austrian Alps. The specimen shows a greenschist matrix, with an overgrowth of tiny Needle Quartz crystals and on grown scalenohedral Calcite crystals up to 3 cm in size, which are partly red colored, caused by Hematite inclusions. Some small Albite crystals can also be found. No damage!
