Dear mineral friends,
we are pleased to offer a rare old lot of apple-green fluorite from Riemvasmaak, South Africa, collected in the late 1990s.
Riemvasmaak is regarded as one of the world’s most sought-after fluorite localities, especially for its sharp octahedral crystals in vivid green, often accompanied by a sparkling quartz crust.
These specimens come from a locality near the Orange River in the Northern Cape, where green fluorite is known for its excellent color and, in many pieces, a quartz coating that can be carefully removed to reveal the crystal faces beneath.
The material is often described as highly collectible and increasingly difficult to obtain today.
The offered lot contains 11 pieces, with individual crystals up to about 5 cm across, making it a strong wholesale parcel for the right collector or dealer.
If you are looking for classic South African fluorite with real market appeal, this is a very attractive opportunity.
Size 4.5 - 14 cm
Origin: Riemvasmaak, Northern Cape, South Africa
